A Report of Performance Data for
Freedom Elementary School
What is No Child Left Behind and U-PASS?
Data for Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) and the Utah Performance Assessment System for Students (U-PASS) are collected from the end-of-year tests that students take the second and third weeks of May each year, The information from these tests are compiled in Math and Language Arts and students in various sub-groups are monitored to verify that they are making adequate progress. You can view the full reports by going to www.usoe.k12.ut.us. Click on the School Report Cards.
Freedom Elementary School has again demonstrated adequate yearly progress in all categories of U-PASS and AYP. End-of-Year test results are presented as one of many methods used to assess students.
